FAQs
A Family PA helps manage the personal, family and household tasks that take up your time and mental space. Rather than focusing only on business administration, my work can cover everything from family diaries, school emails and travel planning to household contractors, personal appointments, gift sourcing and moving home. Think of it as having one trusted person helping you stay on top of the moving parts of everyday life.
The easiest answer is: the things you don’t have time to manage yourself. For example:
– Family diary management
– School emails and dates
– Appointments
– Personal inboxes
– Travel planning
– Household contractors
– Gift sourcing
– Paperwork
– Research
– Moving home admin
– Personal bookings
– Household projects
If you’re a parent, professional, or entrepreneur, you’ll know how overwhelming it can feel to juggle school emails, business admin, travel plans, and household tasks on top of everything else. I step in as your extra pair of hands, managing the mental load so you can focus on what matters most — whether that’s family, work, or simply having more time for yourself.
Traditional Virtual Assistants often focus primarily on business administration. A Family PA is centred around your personal and household life. That could mean managing school emails in the morning, researching a family holiday later that day and then chasing a contractor or sourcing a birthday gift. My support is designed around your life, not one particular type of administrative task.
You choose a monthly allocation of Family PA time. That time can then be used flexibly across agreed tasks during the month. For example, one month may involve more travel planning while another involves school admin, Christmas organisation or household projects. Monthly clients also benefit from having ongoing continuity — I gradually learn your preferences, routines, family commitments and how you like things handled. My regular support packages are based on the amount of dedicated support you need each month. I also offer selected one-off and project-based support. You can view my current options on the Packages page here, or book a discovery call if you’re unsure what level of support you need.
Yes. While many of my clients are busy families, I also support individuals, entrepreneurs, and professionals who want to stay on top of their admin, travel, or home life.
Absolutely. From relocation support to event planning, seasonal projects (like Christmas shopping), or office decluttering, I can provide one-off project management alongside my monthly packages.
Most services are provided remotely, which allows me to support clients anywhere in the UK. For office organisation, paperwork filing, or home decluttering, I also offer in-person sessions in Central London.
Getting started is simple:
1. Discovery Call – Fill in the contact form and we’ll book in a free, no-obligation call. This is where we’ll discuss your needs, priorities, and the kind of support that would make the biggest difference.
2. Proposal & Agreement – Based on our chat, I’ll recommend the best package (or a tailored option). If you’re happy, I’ll send over a simple agreement so we’re clear on scope and expectations.
3. Welcome Pack – You’ll receive a short onboarding form so I can gather any essential information (like calendars, preferences, or logins if relevant).
4. Support Begins – Once that’s done, I’ll step in to start managing your tasks — and you’ll immediately feel the benefit of having a trusted extra pair of hands.
Yes. Where access is required, we’ll agree exactly what I need access to and how it will be used.
Clients remain in control of their accounts, and I only access the systems required to complete agreed work.
Yes. Family PA work naturally involves sensitive personal information, so discretion and confidentiality are extremely important. Any information you provide is used only for the purpose of carrying out your agreed support.
No. There are often secure ways to provide access without simply sending passwords by email or message.
During onboarding we’ll agree the safest and most practical setup depending on the accounts or systems involved. You only give me the information I need to carry out your requested tasks.
Yes. Where appropriate, I can coordinate with other people involved in your household so information, appointments and tasks don’t become fragmented.
Yes. I can research suppliers, request quotations, arrange appointments, follow up, coordinate dates and keep track of what has been agreed. You remain responsible for approving quotes and purchases, contracts or significant expenditure, providing access to your home and liaising with them in person.
I can certainly manage much of the administration surrounding it. This might include:
– Gift lists
– Gift research
– Ordering
– Delivery tracking
– Cards
– Hampers
– Restaurant reservations
– Family diary organisation
– Travel planning
– Seasonal bookings
Christmas availability is limited, so earlier booking is recommended.
The first step is easy — just head over to my Contact page and fill in the quick form with a few details about your needs. I’ll get back to you within 24–48 hours to arrange a free discovery call, where we can chat through how I can best support you.
